Seasons Are Changing

Indigenous Peoples Experience

Grades 3-6

A Journey Through the Seasons

How do different seasons impact how we live our lives? What happens when the leaves change colours? What do we do when it gets really cold outside?

With an Indigenous educator, your class will explore the Indigenous Peoples Experience and go on a journey through the four seasons. You will learn about how Indigenous peoples of the past and present live their lives as the seasons change. Students will ask questions and build connections between their own seasonal traditions and the practices of Indigenous peoples.

*This program is developed following the purpose of the Indigenous Peoples Experience: Children of all ages and nations gathering in the spirit of friendship to learn, laugh, and play.
