Wagon Rides
Wagons pick up passengers in front of McDougall General Store. This quiet, scenic loop that goes past the pond and the Fort takes about 10 minutes.

Children under 12 are not permitted to ride alone.

Pony Rides
Our adorable hard-working ponies are pleased to take little visitors who want to experience the pioneer west for a ride at the Ottewell homestead farmyard. The well-being of our ponies is carefully monitored by our Pony Handlers and unscheduled breaks may be called from time to time.

Please speak with one of our Pony Handlers for information about breaks and wait times.

Vis-a-vis
Enjoy a Vis-a-vis ride around the park! This charming wagon ride is a delightful way to experience Fort Edmonton Park’s historic eras. Rides are available for groups of 4 and are 20 minutes long. 

These are available on limited days, so be sure to book in advance!

Available Monday 20th, Sunday June 16, Saturday June 29th, Monday July 1st, Saturday August 3rd, Monday August 5th, Saturday August 31st and Monday September 2nd

First come first serve between 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm.

Tickets for pony rides and wagon rides are available online and in person at McDougall’s General Store on 1885 Street. Pick up and drop off is on 1885 Street.

* There are no height restrictions for pony rides. The rider has to be able to sit on their own and be under 10 years old.
