$20 per person - Includes admissions to the Indigenous Peoples Experience and participation in the miyomahcihowak iskwēwak  ōki event.

Workshop Schedule
Once you arrive, your day will begin with welcoming words and an introduction from Pam Greene and Elder Marjorie Wright at the Indigenous Peoples Experience. From there you can either make your way to your purchased workshop or you are welcome to browse the Indigenous Peoples Experience.

Learn the traditional Métis art of fish scale floral designs, including harvesting and preparation techniques

How to Make a Dreamcatcher | 12:00 pm - 1:30 pm | Meeting Place Room #2
A hands-on session on crafting dreamcatchers while exploring their cultural significance.

Traditional Tea Teachings | 1:30 pm - 2:30 pm | Meeting Place Room #1
Discover the healing properties of traditional teas and Indigenous plant medicine.

Beaded Keychain | 2:30 pm - 3:30 pm | Meeting Place Room #3 
Create a beaded keychain while learning about the cultural importance of beadwork.

Who is this event for?
This event is for all ages and those who want to experience cultural connection and personal growth through Indigenous crafts, teachings and storytelling.

When Should I Arrive?
We recommend arriving 30 minutes prior to your workshop to explore the Indigenous Peoples Experience before the presentations begin.

Where Do I Park?
Parking is available in Lot K. View Map & Directions

If arriving by Uber, taxi, or rideshare, please email info@fortedmontonpark.ca for accessibility assistance.

We do not recommend using ETS, as walking access to the exhibit from transit stops is unavailable.

Is Food Available?
Fort Edmonton Park’s food outlets are closed during winter, but guests are welcome to bring lunch and snacks. Presenters will have some homemade products available for purchase.

What Should I Bring?
• A water bottle or travel mug (encouraged)
• A packed lunch if attending multiple workshops or presentations
